This is about as culty as Napa Valley Cabernets get.
140 cases made, from a tiny, very prime vineyard on the western edge of the
Rutherford Bench. Made by Aaron Pott, with Jim Barbour in the vineyard.
Only one other California store has the 2014 vintage:
4 bottles at $140.
We have 30 bottles available of the even better and
much smaller production 2015, available nowhere else (including the winery).
This 2015 has the highest CellarTracker score. Here’s
Yum! I've tasted this before and knew that I needed to have
a bottle or two. It's fairly difficult to get apparently and I was thrilled to
finally receive my bottle after several weeks of waiting. It laid down for
almost a year before I could no longer resist. It's everything a Napa Cab
should aspire to be IMHO and at a very fair price for what you get. Drink now
or wait, I'm sure you'll be rewarded for letting this rest longer but it's
amazing now if you have something special to celebrate.
Frankly, I can’t believe this wine is even available,
let alone at such a great price.
