NO other store currently has this dynamite Zinfandel (though one says they can get it, at a higher price).
No ratings yet, but both prior vintages were killer.
Here are their Wine Advocate reviews:
Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Zinfandel Wood Estate (a barrel sample) is scented of warm cassis, black cherry compote and Black Forest cake with hints of Indian spices and fragrant earth. Full-bodied, rich and spicy, it has a firm, chewy frame and long, spicy finish.
Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Zinfandel Wood Estate has an earthy nose over a core of blackberry preserves, baked plums and spice box with a waft of dusty soil. The palate is full-bodied, rich and chewy with tons of fruitcake and earthy layers, finishing long and spicy.
105 cases were made. $90
This is like being able to buy the Williams-Selyem or Martinelli Jackass Hill Zins back before they became such expensive cult stars.
